Optional Dinner
If you choose to arrive the day before the Conference on 18 September 2019 you have the possibility of having an optional dinner at the KONVENTUM. Please be advised that there are no other catering possibilities in the close vicinity but there are plenty of opportunities in the city centre of Elsinore.

Ice Breaker
This Ice Breaker is included in the Conference Fee and takes place on 19 September. This evening we will visit the famous Kronborg Castle for a guided tour.

Poster Sessions
Included in the Conference Fee is the Poster Session in the afternoon of 20 September taking place at the KONVENTUM.

Excursion and Conference Dinner
Saturday 21 September we offer an Excursion to Copenhagen by hired bus. We will leave just before lunch bringing a sandwich along for the bus ride. We will walk through the beautiful historic centre of the city (not a long walk), ascend the Round Tower, and sail through the canals of Copenhagen and maybe grab a beer in Nyhavn before heading off for the Workshop Dinner in beautiful rural surroundings before we head back to the KONVENTUM.

Sunday Activities

The KONVENTUM is a 5 minutes’ walk from the beach where you can go swimming. The KONVENTUM have sauna facilities and a work-out room.
Should you prefer to go to Copenhagen City this is also a possibility. Take the bus 803 or 840 from KONVENTUM to Helsingør Station (Elsinore Station), and take the Regional train to the city (Nørreport, Vesterport or Københavns Hovedbanegård).

To visit Sweden you can take a ferry from Elsinor directly to Helsingborg in Sweden.

To visit the beautiful island; "Isle of Ven" – take a ferry to Helsingborg in Sweden and public transportation to Landskrona and from there to Ven. At Ven you can rent a bike and visit the world famous Tycho Brahe's famous Uranienborg.

Checklist – which kind of clothes to bring?
The weather in September varies a lot from warmer days to days with showers. We advise you to bring good footwear. We will hand out umbrellas (if needed).
