| Dear ROM SAF GTS User Issued: 2013-01-29 11:45Z Due to an outage and degradation of upstream GRAS level 1b data no ROM SAF products were disseminated between instrument sensing times 2013-01-29 06:24:07Z and 2013-01-29 07:18:49Z. Products are expected to be degraded until 13:45 Z and will be flagged accordingly. Please see detailed message from EUMETSAT below. Kind regards The ROM SAF Team Forwarded Message: Subject:Data outage for GRAS on Metop-A today, 29 Jan 2012 From: Yago Andres Date: 2013-01-29 11:13 UTC Dear all, due to a problem at the downlink station in Svalbard, the operational processing chain for Metop-A was interrupted for ~50min (06:24-07:18). The interruption has caused a reset in the operational POD. The automatic POD reset occurred at a sensing time of 07:18 UTC, but unfortunately, it did not work as expected. A manual reset has thus been triggered for sensing time 2013-01-29 09:45:00.00. Data will be flagged as degraded up until ca. 13:45 UTC.
