| Dear ROM SAF GTS User Issued: 2016-02-25 12:15 UTC As previously announced, the following postponed upgrade will be performed: The ROM SAF is planning a maintenance upgrade of the NRT processing system on 2016-02-29. The data quality will not change, but the reference azimuth angle (descriptor 0 05 021 in BUFR, Data Field 36) will be the one provided by EUMETSAT instead of the one computed at the ROM SAF. Besides this, the 1Dvar solution for occultations that fail the 1Dvar QC will now also be available, but with a quality flag (descriptor 0 33 039 in BUFR, bit 7) indicating that 'Meteorological processing' was non-nominal.
