Changes to the Metop NRT products

Dear ROM SAF GTS User

This is a kind reminder that today EUMETSAT has changed the GRAS Radio Occultation Level 1B processing (see details below). This is mainly to address two long-standing issues:

1) Cases with erroneous oscillations above 30 km
2) Cases with large unphysical deviations from the ECMWF model below 10 km

Consequently the data quality of the ROM SAF refractivity products (GRM numbers 01, 40, and 60) and the 1D-var products (GRM numbers 02-05, 41-44, and 61-64) will improve, and more profiles will be marked as nominal.
