| Dear ROM SAF DATA User Issued : 2022-01-10 15:03 UTC The production of ROM SAF Sentinel-6 NTC profile products will be temporarily stopped on 10 January 2022. The estimation is that the processing will be stopped for 10-12 days. The reason for temporarily stopping the production is that EUMETSAT has discovered an anomaly with one of the software libraries used for the EUMETSAT S6 RO L1b NTC processing, which would prevent the application from generating these products with sensing time in 2022. As a preventive action, the EUMETSAT S6 RO L1b NTC product generation will be stopped on Monday 10 January, until the software fix is deployed. EUMETSAT estimates that the processing will be stopped around 10-12 days, before the product delivery resumes. As a consequence, the S6 RO L1b NTC processing will be delayed during this period, although it is expect that the NTC timeliness requirements will still be met. Kind regards The ROM SAF Team |
