| Dear ROM SAF Data User Issued : 2022-04-13 09:57 UTC The EUMETSAT Sentinel-6 RO-NTC processor was updated from version 3.5 to 3.6 on 7th April 2022 (https://www.eumetsat.int/new-processor-version-sentinel-6-radio-occultation-data). This resulted in the duplication of some generated products from 23-25 March which subsequently led to the duplication of ROM SAF Sentinel-6 NTC profile products from 23rd and 24th March 2022. The generated ROM SAF products are based on a mixture of upstream RO-NTC version 3.5 and 3.6 (but most of them are based on version 3.6). In a few cases, occultations that were previously released based on version 3.5 on those two days have been replaced in the daily compressed tar files with occultations based on version 3.6. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Product quality plots on the ROM SAF webpage for the days of 2022-03-24, and 2022-03-25, are mostly based on RO-NTC v3.5 data although the released products in the compressed tar files are mostly based on v3.6 data.
