Description
Dear GRAS SAF GTS user Issued: 2011-01-20 09:50 UTC The expected degradation of upstream level 1 b GRAS data did not occur and GRAS level 1 b data quality has been nominal through the night. Please see detailed message from EUMETSAT below. Kind regards The GRAS SAF team Forwarded message: Subject: Was: Expected GRAS data quality degradation starting tomorrow, 19. Jan 2011, 21:19:49 UTC From: Christian Marquardt, Date: 2011-01-20 07:52 Dear all, as it goes... this time, the rollover of Metop's onboard clock went fine and, against our expectation, didn't influence the GRAS processing at all. In other words, the quality of GRAS higher level products has been nominal through the night, and no degradation / outage took place. With kind regards, Christian. -- Dr. Christian Marquardt, Polar System Product Expert EUMETSAT, Am Kavalleriesand 31, D-64295 Darmstadt, Germany
