| Dear GRAS SAF GTS User Issued 2011-05-24 10:40 UTC Due to degraded input GRAS level 1 b data. GRAS SAF data has been degraded since yesterday at approx. 12 UTC. GRAS SAF products have been flagged accordingly. Data quality is expected to be nominal at approx 13:00 UTC. Please see detailed message from EUMETSAT below. Kind regards The GRAS SAF Team Forwarded message: Subject: GRAS data quality degradation since yesterday, 23/05/2011 12:00 From: Christian Marquardt Date: 2011-05-24 09:10 UTC Dear all, unfortunately, I have to report that we are suffering from a severe degradation of the GRAS data quality since yesterday, 23/05/2011 12:00 UTC. The reason is a rather large clock bias that developed in our operational POD. We have finally performed a POD reset and expect that bending angle data quality will be back to nominal until about 13:00 UTC We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
