| Dear GRAS SAF GTS User Issued 2011-07-01 07:25 UTC The processor of upstream GRAS level 1b data was updated yesterday, 2011-06-30. Please see detailed message from EUMETSAT below Forwarded Message: Subject: GRAS Processor Update From: Dr. Christian Marquardt Date: 2011-06-30 14:55 UTC Dear all, I'm writing to let you know that we have just updated the GRAS processing system in our operational ground segment. The update went smooth and caused no interruptions; the first measurements processed with the new version was taken around 13:05 UTC today, 30 June 2011. The main reason for the update is an improved configuration of the Precise Orbit Determination. In particular, geomagnetic storms should not cause any data degradations any more in the future. We also introduced a number of technical improvements which should have no impact on GRAS level 1 data products. Please let us know if you do observe any unexpected behaviour in the data.
