Outage of Metop-A GRAS level 1b data

Dear ROM SAF GTS User

Issued 2013-06-18 08:45 UTC

Due to an outage of upstream GRAS level 1b data no ROM SAF NRT products were disseminated yesterday between 2013-06-17 14:24 UTC and 2013-06-17 16:12 UTC . In the period from 16:12 UTC to 20:15, UTC upstream GRAS level 1 b data was flagged as
degraded, ROM SAF products were flagged accordingly.

Were are sorry for the inconvenience. Please see detailed message from EUMETSAT below.

Dear all,

Unfortunately, I have to report that we suffered from an outage of Metop-A data during yesterday afternoon; there was no level 0 data between 14:24 and 16:12 UTC yesterday, 17. June 2013 available for GRAS.

After data became available again, the processing continued as usual, but GRAS level 1 bending angles were flagged as degraded for 4 hours after the first data became available again (i.e. until about 20:15 UTC).
