| Dear ROM SAF GTS User Issued 2014-02-18 20:11 UTC The Metop-B satellite will undergo a scheduled in-plane manoeuvre on February 19, 2014. Please see the message from EUMETSAT below. A temporary degradation of the upstream Metop-B/GRAS Level 1 products is to be expected and as a result the ROM SAF Metop-B NRT products will be flagged accordingly. Metop-A data are not affected by this event. With kind regards The ROM SAF Team ---------- EUMETSAT UNS message ---------- Fra: Christian Marquardt Sendt: 18. februar 2014 18:06 Til: Users Emne: Metop-B maneouvre tomorrow, 19 Feb 2014 Dear all, Metop-B will undergo a planned in-plane manoeuvre around 12:59 UTC. As usual, the Precise Orbit Determination system of the GRAS processing will be reset shortly after the event, causing a 4 hour period of degraded bending angle data quality. We expect that Metop-B data will be of nominal quality again shortly after 17:00 UTC. The data will be flagged accordingly. GRAS data from Metop-A will not be affected.
