| Dear ROM SAF GTS User Issued 2014-03-24 11:30 UTC The Metop-A satellite will undergo a scheduled manoeuvre on 26 March 2014. Please see the message from EUMETSAT below. A temporary degradation of the upstream Metop-A/GRAS Level 1 products is to be expected and as a result the ROM SAF Metop-A NRT products will be flagged accordingly. Metop-B products are not affected. March 2014, between (approximately) 13:00 and 13:45 UTC during which no science data will be available from GRAS. Afterwards, a reset of the precise Orbit Determination component of the operational GRAS processing will take place, followed by a 4 hour period of degraded level 1b / bending angle data. The data will be flagged accordingly. Level 2 data (refractivity) as provided by the ROM SAF will also be affected. Note that in about two weeks, a second out-of-plane manoeuvre for Metop-A will follow; I will let you know when we are closer to that event. Data from Metop-B is not affected.
