Dear all,

I'm writing to let you know that Metop-B will undergo a planned out-of-plane manoeuvre tomorrow,

8. October 2014, starting around 13:17 UTC

After the sequence of burns has completed (there are several one this time), we will reset the Precise Orbit Determination component of the operational processing system for GRAS/Metop-B data, and GRAS/Metop-B level 1 data (bending angles) as well as downstream level 2 data (refractivity, temperature, moisture) generated by the ROM SAF will be degraded until about 18:30 UTC.

GRAS/Metop-A data is not affected.

Please note that Metop-B will undergo a follow-up manoeuvre in a few weeks from now, probably on 22 October; I will let you know as soon as the actual date and time have been confirmed.

With kind regards,

Christian.
