Outage of GRAS level 1b data

Description

Dear GRAS SAF GTS User Issued 2009-09-18 08:00 UTC Due to an scheduled outage of GRAS level 1b data no GRAS SAF products were disseminated between instrument sensing times 2009-09-17 13:51:30 UTC and 2009-09-18 04:03:43 UTC. Please see messages from EUMETSAT below. ---snip--- Dear all, GRAS - or rather our processing of its data - continues to surprise us. Contrary to our expectations, the POD recovery after the out-of-plane manoeuvre earlier today did not take place as smoothly as we hoped it would. We have just experienced a second (unplanned) reset, which means that the GRAS higher level data products will not be back to nominal quality before tomorrow morning (our local time). Correspondingly, we have decided to postpone the start of the dissemination of GRAS level 1 data until at least then. We will monitor the further development of the orbit performance and inform you as soon GRAS data becomes available again.
