Subject: RE: Degraded GRAS bending angle data at high (> 35 km) altitudes

Dear all,

the upper level bending angle biases exhibited by the GRAS data I reported on earlier today
(see below) stabilized during the day (at a level of ± 4 microradians at 60 km altitude), but
did not completely recover by themselves.

In the afternoon, we eventually transferred a converged POD state vector we had
obtained from a very early manual POD reset on one of our test ground segments into
the operational processing and achieved an instant orbit recovery at 14:30 UTC. Level
1b products from this time onwards exhibit nominal data quality again.

 Christian.
