| Termination of Metop-A in Offline and ICDR products |

| Dear ROM SAF DATA User Issued : 2022-03-14 09:58 UTC Metop-A was decomissioned in November 2021, and ROM SAF Metop Offline and ICDR products no longer contain data from Metop-A forward in time. Level 1 and Level 2 data: Metop-A Offline Bending Angle (GRM-08), Refractivity profile (GRM-09), Temperature profile (GRM-10), Specific Humidity profile (GRM-11), Pressure profile (GRM-12), Surface Pressure (GRM 13), and Dry Temperature profile (GRM-101) products are terminated after 15 November, 2021. Likewise, Metop ICDR products (GRM-29-I1) do not contain data from Metop-A after 15 November, 2021. Level 3 data: Metop-A Offline Bending Angle Grid (GRM-93), Refractivity Grid (GRM-94), Temperature Grid (GRM-95), Specific Humidity Grid (GRM-96), Dry Geopotential Height Grid (GRM-97), Dry Temperature Grid (GRM-98), Dry Pressure Grid (GRM-99), and Tropopause Height Grid (GRM-191) products are terminated after 31 October, 2021. Metop Offline Bending Angle Grid (GRM-83), Refractivity Grid (GRM-84), Temperature Grid (GRM-85), Specific Humidity Grid (GRM-86), Dry Geopotential Height Grid (GRM-87), Dry Temperature Grid (GRM-88), Dry Pressure Grid (GRM-89), and Tropopause Height Grid (GRM-194) are not based on data from Metop-A after 15 November, 2021. Likewise, Metop ICDR products (GRM-29-I1) are not based on data from Metop-A after 15 November, 2021. Kind regards The ROM SAF Team |
