Scheduled outage/degradation of GRAS level 1 b data, 2011-04-19

Description

Dear GRAS SAF GTS user Issued 2011-04-015 08:10 UTC Due to an update of the GRAS instrument no GRAS SAF products will be disseminated between sensing times 2011-04-19 06:40 UTC and 2011-04-19 11:21 UTC . Upstream GRAS level 1b data is expected to be degraded a few hours after instrument restart. GRAS SAF products will be flagged accordingly. Please see snippet from EUMETSAT helpdesk below ************************************* - the on-board software update will improve the availability of GRAS measurements by avoiding tracking unhealthy GPS satellites. - on 19/04/2011, the GRAS instrument will be switched off occultation mode between 0640Z and 1121Z.
