| Dear GRAS SAF GTS User Issued: 2012-02-08 09:55 UTC Upstream GRAS level 1 b data was degraded between 2012-02-08 01:42 UTC and approx. 2012-02-08 06:00 UTC. GRAS SAF products were flagged accordingly. Please see detailed message from EUMETSAT below. Kind regards The GRAS SAF Team Forwarded Message: Subject:Degraded data from GRAS between 01:42 and 06:00 UTC today, 08.02.2012 From: Christian Marquardt Date: 2012-02-08 08:08 UTC Dear all, For some yet unknown reason, the Precise Orbit Determination system of the operational GRAS processing went through a reset this morning; accordingly, bending angle data was flagged as being degraded between 01:42 and (about) 06:00 UTC this morning. Our monitoring indicates that the degradation was only minor, with upper level bending angle biases being slightly larger than usual (in the order of 4-5 microrad in the 60-80 km altitude range). data quality is back to normal by now.
