Subject: GRAS / Metop-A outage earlier today (2014-05-12)

Dear all,

due to a problem on one of Eumetsat ground segments, we suffered an outage of science data from Metop-A between 10:59 UTC and at 12:41 UTC sensing times today, 12th May 2014. As a consequence, the GRAS processing for Metop-A has gone through a reset of its Precise Orbit Determination.

Level 1 data products (bending angle profiles) as well as downstream level 2 data (refractivity produced by the ROM SAF) will be of degraded quality until about 17:00 UTC today.

We apologize for the inconvenience this outage might have caused on your side.

With kind regards,

Christian.
