| Dear ROM SAF GTS User Issued : 2016-10-20 13:15 UTC Today EUMETSAT headquarters in Darmstadt has changed the GRAS Radio Occultation Level 1b processing from Geometrical Optics to Wave Optics (see: http://www.eumetsat.int/website/home/News/DAT_3212696.html). The ROM SAF Metop NRT production is now using wave optics as input data: Since 08:21:00 UTC for Metop-A and since 09:21:00 UTC for Metop-B. Please refer to the previous announcement: http://www.romsaf.org/view_notification.php?id=889 and http://www.romsaf.org/view_notification.php?id=885 No anomalies were detected during the change.
